Trader FAQ’s

How can I take part?

If you are interested in showcasing your work with us, you can express interest via the Take Part link, send us an email or a message on Instagram.
As always, all applicants are vetted to ensure the upkeep of the market.
What is provided?

You will be provided with one table and two chairs, unless specified by the organisers in the set up email sent out prior to the event.
If you need to be supplied with electricity, please notify us before had so we can work it into our floorplan.
What do you do if you have similar traders?

We try our hardest to avoid having similar stalls at the event. But in cases where this is not possible, we select makers with very different style products, to avoid a clash of traders.
Alternatively, we may ask you to bring other stock items that you may have available to avoid cross over.
How big is my pitch?

Your pitch is approximately a 6ft x 2ft table with seating space behind. Your pitch fee includes ONE piece of SMALL furniture. This can be a small print stand or mannequin etc.
Items larger than the depth of your table, or deemed too large for the space will be charged or asked to be dismantled. This is to provided a fair and accessible shopping environment to all.

Venue Specifics

Bury St Edmunds

Parking is not provided, but there is on-street parking for drop off and pick up. Once you have finished unloading we recommend parking at either the police station car park, behind ‘The Premier Inn’ or ‘Ram meadow’ car park, located on Cotton Lane.
The event will be open to the public from 10.30am -3pm with access for traders to set up from 9 am. There is wheelchair access, around the side of the property, for those of you with trolleys of heavy items.
Please ensure you do not pack up prior to the finish time. We have access to the hall for up until 1.5 hours after the event, so please ensure you are off the premises by this time.
If there is two or more of you attending the event, we recommend one of you fetching the car, while the other starts packing up.

Culford Village Hall

Culford

Yes, there is parking on site. Spaces out the front are to be kept clear for visitors and emergencies. But there is a large grass carpark at the rear of the building
The event will be open to the public from 10.00am -3pm with access for traders to set up from 8:30am.
Feel free to unload your vehicle outside the front of the hall, and then move you car to the rear carpark before setting up. There is ramp access situated on the right hand-side of the building via a fire door
Please ensure you do not pack up prior to the finish time. We have access to the hall for up until 1.5 hours after the event, so please ensure you are off the premises by this time.
Please take everything away with you, including rubbish. Thank you

Lavenham

Yes, there is parking on site. And the hall is situated in the biggest carpark in Lavenham, so plenty of space for both traders & visitors
The event will be open to the public from 10.30am -3pm with access for traders to set up from 9 am. The event is hosted entirely on the ground floor so accessible to all & plenty of room to manoeuvre trolleys
Please ensure you do not pack up prior to the finish time. We have access to the hall for up until 1.5 hours after the event, so please ensure you are off the premises by this time.
Please remember to take everything away with you, rubbish included. Thank you
